Western Red Cedar Privacy Fence w/ Top Cap & Kick-Board

Here is a before picture of our new job site.
In this picture, the old fence has been removed and the new fence is being installed. As you can see, we are using 4x4 Treated Posts and (3) 2x4x8 Treated Rail.
Then our finished product! 6 1/2 foot tall Western Red Cedar (3/4" thick picket) privacy fence. This fence also has an added 2x6 bottom kick-board. This bottom kick-board adds 6 inches to the height of the overall fence. Plus it saves the pickets from ground contact . Thus extending the life of the cedar pickets.
Then for added stability and style we have add a 2x6 top cap trimmed with a cedar 1x4 trim board along the bottom of the top 2x6.
We believe, the new fence installation, has significantly added value to our customer's property and we are very proud of the work our crew preformed. As always, they put a lot of pride in their workmanship.

  1. Fencing is an independent boundary or structure, which is placed in between two different and uniquely identifiable landscapes or property. In some other definition, it can also be termed as a border between two farms or residential plots.

  2. Hi,

Nice pictures, when it comes to fencing equipment, both form and functionality are of critical importance, and finding equipment that keeps fencers safe without impeding their ability to effectively perform and compete is at the top of every fencer’s list. Thanks a lot.
